Yeah, the okra is way too big and tough. But this is my secret plot against okra, which is about the only food on the planet earth that I detest with a huge detestest. So, it’s R.’s okra, and I just tend to ignore, and it just tends to overgrow, and I just tend to smile as a result…!
Oh my gosh, look all of those! I’d love to come over for a blt! Yummy, yummy, and more yummy. My grandmother and her sister always canned their tomatoes and lordy did their canned tomatoes make the best mac and tomatoes.
Loverly - do you have a dehydrator? You could make your own sundried tomatoes. I did that one year - with a very good harvest (one of the ones that I actually religiously watered as needed). That was the bomb!!!! Muy recommended!!
PS - I KNEW that AMama would have some sort of okra solution…..
Holy cow, woman! That’s fantastic! Count me in for a kitchen sink sandwich! But, it looks like you let your okra get too big, no?

I’d love to stop over for a sandwich. What would you like me to bring? Beer? Wine? Tequila? Lemonade? What’s your pleasure?
Aahhh……. if only.
