Welcome home. NOW the adventure really begins...

Spoiler alert: we denied our little boy an additional five minutes of play time last night and were immediately and tearfully designated the First and Firstest Most Mean Grown Ups In The Entire Universe.

He will have forgotten this by this morning, of course.

Welcome, my friend, welcome to the Funhouse.

Glad to read that you are back home. Thanks for letting us follow along on your "decoy blog" I thought it was a very well done travel blog. When I read about your visit to the 6 Banyans Temple I remembered our visit there. You noted that the pagoda is 7 stories, and that's correct, but from outside it appears to have 9 stories. Our guide told us this was because of the significance of the number 9, and that it was believed anyone who built a 9 story pagoda to honor the Buddha was insured a place in heaven, then she told us she believed that people who adopt waiting children have built a 9-story pagoda in their hearts.
