Oh, a little dirt never hurt anyone. If it does, then my kids are in for it.

E. has that very same snack, in the very same bowls, on a regular basis! She loves her apples.

I hope you had a wonderful trip!

From the sound of it you've gone and returned already - enough that this little cutie may be back on the kitchen floor eating...apples? What a great look! Does she like the rain, or is she still too little to notice?

Our boy, being a true Portlander, considers anything but a flat-ass downpour no reason NOT to go for a ride on his "big" bike (up from the tricycle of pre-four-year-old times). I'd actually welcome a break from the clouds - it's nastily close and as muggy as it gets here, not a patch on the East Coast, but still...not fun for Portland...

So -- were you back from the Valley in time to enjoy our big break in the weather? It's been raining off and on for, oh, 7 hours or so! Wow!

How low will you go? Have a good trip!! And dude, you haven't seen disguise-a-dirt until you've seen our brick red "warehouse"-style tile. "Things" (the kind that shouldn't be there) have gone weeks before being discovered. Weeks, I tell you. And that's not necessarily a good thing.

Have a great little break!

It's not as if she was eating the apples off the floor. She had them in a bowl on the floor. And a little dirt just helps them build up their immunity, right?

Ahhh....the low desert in July. May He have mercy on you and your family ;)

So, as you might have expected, I have tons of questions for you about your experiences with The Bee thus far (seeing as how she and Thor have a LOT in common). I'm going to try and e-mail you. I hope that's OK.

Enjoy your weekend. Wishing you cool breezes and monsoon rains!
