Ditch 'er.
Love the Bee, love her and can't wait to see the Zee's face!

Happy 6 month anniversary! She's such a beauty~

As far as the ST goes, I would also request another one. After working with very young children for 10+ years, especially those who need special therapies, there are many therapists in many capacities that are not trained, nor are they developmentally appropriate for children that are under the age of, oh, let's say school age. I blame it on a fault in their training, mixed with a lack of patience. She's not a good fit for the Bee- get someone else who is and she will soar.

She's looking lovely in her Sunday best!
No advice re: speech therapist. We'll be using the one assigned to us through the cleft team. I hope that means she's on the ball about young kids and their needs. We met her once and she seems nice, but our first "real" appointment will be in mid-December, 3 weeks after surgery.

Love this photo. Congrats on the milestone! And I look forward to hearing R's take on the speech therapist. Hopefully she didn't pull a Jekyll and Hyde on y'all...

What a sweetie - I know I say that a lot, but, durr! She is!

The EI folks are at our house today with mommy and Little Missy - I'm eager to find out what they say...and I have to add to the chorus of the "DTMFA" for the speech therapist. This doesn't sound like quality care to me...

Hope all goes well - and swiftly - for The Z.

From Bee to Zee. I love it! The Bee looks great, but you know that. Hope you find a better therapist. That one sounds crummy for you.

I'm pretty darn sure that you could find a better Speech Therapist - dragging a resistant Bee into ones lap isn't something that I'd think would be condusive to any sort of therapy. I'd imagine that Bee would become even more resistant....

Love the picture, ELu is such a sweetheart. XO

Bee and the Z - I love it! Good call to let R. go the ST but truly, as the other commenters note, the ST needs to be someone you are comfortable with as well. What a cutie-pie your first daughter is... Thanks for the photo.
